Hundreds of ‘Romans’ assembled at the Vaucluse racing circuit in St Thomas last Friday for the annual Caesar’s Army A.M. BUSH, Foreday Morning private jump.
And although blue, yellow and black were the designated colours of the night, by the time morning rolled over, there was a whole rainbow of revellers after they were generously doused with paint, chalk and water during the four-hour long party, which started two hours later than scheduled at 4 a.m. and ran until 8 a.m.
Once the party started, it was non- stop jamming as three mega-trucks, each with its own deejay on board, blurred out the season’s popular tunes.
To add to the excitement, Nikita, Stiffy, Stabby and Marzville delighted the revellers, who were simply chipping and singing all the way.
By the time breakfast rolled around, some patrons were simply famished as a result of all the non-stop partying and could be seen chucking down the offerings before them.
However, food was not one everyone’s mind as others simply could not resist the foam pool and the water slide after a hard night of sweating and jamming.
In the end, a good time was had by all and Trinidadian organizer Jules Julius Caesar Sobion was pleased with the growth of his Barbados army, which was launched back in 2013.
