A 30-year-old bodywork man has been released on $3,000 bail after appearing in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on a criminal charge.
Donovan Delroy Chatterpaul, of 1st Avenue Railway Road, Carrington Village, St Michael, is accused of wounding Phillip Garnett on March 8 with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or to do some serious bodily harm to him.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge which was read out to him by Magistrate Douglas Frederick.
With no objections from Sergeant Rudy Pilgrim, the accused was released after the magistrate accepted his surety and warned him to stay away from the complainant.
The case continues on September 18.
