A 31-year-old man, accused of a number of criminal offences, has been remanded to Dodds prison until April 13.
Pedro Alfonzo Burgess, of Baycroft New Road, Bridge Road, St Michael, pleaded not guilty to entering, as a trespasser, the home of Jalisa Grimes on January 17, as well as the premises of Tinesha Springer and Simone Stephens on March 13, giving cause to suspect that he was about to commit theft.
However, he was not required to plead to the indictable charges of allegedly entering, as a trespasser, the home of a woman on November 13 last year and February 25 this year, and another woman on March 3, with intent to commit indecent assault.
Magistrate Graveney Bannister remanded the accused to the St Philip penal institution after hearing bail arguments from the prosecutor, Sergeant Vernon Waithe, as well as Burgess’ attorneys Andrew Pilgrim, QC, and Kamisha Benjamin.
