Independent candidate for the City of Bridgetown, Natalie ‘Natlee’ Harewood is on a drive to clear piles of garbage from the streets.
On Saturday Harewood travelled through Nelson Street to clean up the area with the help of two haulers sponsored by owner of Reduce Quarry Anderson Cherry.
Harewood said the clean-up campaign is one of her first initiatives as she seeks to tackle issues plaguing The City.
“I just want to show the people that yes I am serious and I have started to do things,” the former sex worker, who recently quit to pursue a career in politics, said.
