Two granted bail

A man charged with causing bodily harm to a traffic warden will return to court on April 25 after pleading not guilty to the offence today in the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court No. 2.

Dwayne Tyrone Millington, of #91 Tulip Drive, Husbands, St James denied causing bodily harm to Sharron Whittaker on February 3, by driving a vehicle wantonly.

The 32-year-old laboratory assistant was granted $7 000 bail.

Meanwhile, Shelly-Ann Natasha Carmichael, of Gunsite Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael appeared on charges of unlawfully and maliciously wounding two women.

She was granted $8 000 bail after pleading not guilty to committing the offences against Michelle Samuel and Alphia Taitt on New Year’s day.

Those cases will come up again on April 25. Until then, Carmichael is not to interfere or have anything to do with either complainant.

Both accused went before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant.
