Krystal Browne showed that she was strong enough to lead the group of contestants in the second preliminary of the annual Richard Stoute Teen Talent competition.

Held on the grounds of Divi Southwinds Resort, in St. Lawrence, Christ Church, on Sunday the competitor stamped her dominance in the 13 to 21 age category when she secured 601 points, 66 points ahead of the second placed Rashida Dixon who garnered 535 points and third place Tosheena Durant who scored five points less to amass 530 points.

Browne sang Strong Enough and Worthy Is The Lamb, Dixon did When You Believe and If I Ain’t Got You and My Guy and Redemption Song.

In the over 21 category, Christopher Padmore performing Everyday I Love You and Two Less Lonely People topped the only other contestant Tanisha Alleyne. He received 649 points to her 625 points after singing Brown Skin and Jar Of Hearts.

In the six to 12 age group, 10 year-old Amor Knight-Miller won with 511 points and Crystal Lavia was second with 508 points. They did The Climb and Jar Of Hearts and Skyscraper and When I Look At You respectively.

The other contestants were Tasha Mathurin (Long Long Time and Just As I Am);

Miesha Lovell (He Wants It All and Hold Me); Akeiba Inniss (Super Woman and Let Me Be Your Angel).

The show also featured entertainment by last year’s 13 to 21 winner Jabarrie Hurdle, Nu Beginnings Models, and Charles, a Michael Jackson impersonator.
