If you didn’t make it to the UV breakfast party last Sunday morning, then you not only missed a good show, but it was also your last opportunity for a UV experience this year.
But those who made it to UV Frames: The Finale at Crystal View Estate in St John, were treated to a party unlike any other. The food was great, the liquor was flowing and fantastic, and the views were amazing.
Patrons partied to music from the likes of Nikita, Marzville, Jus D, Fadda Fox, Leadpipe & Saddis, Joaquin, Hypasounds and many more.
The Bajan artistes thoroughly entertained the crowd which partied until sunrise, and Trinidadian Kerwin Dubois also kept them entertained with his high-energy performance well into the morning.
They closed out the morning to the sounds of DJ Puffy who kept them partying all morning long.
Promoter Mario Turton confirmed for Bajan Vibes that there would be no UV Boxing Day event this year. He says the organizers are in restructuring mode and will be returning with something bigger and better.
“I am very pleased with how the finale came off. The patrons had a great time and that’s what I like to see,” he said. “We are going through a rebranding process and we are going to return with an even better package to offer the loyal patrons. I can’t let too much out the bag as yet, but we will have a slightly different concept and it will be a different time. But you will have to wait and see.”
Reflecting on the success of the UV brand over the last eight years, Turton said it had been a wonderful experience and he thanked all those who supported the brand.
“It was a learning experience. I think that, for the most part, we have been seeing a brand that people look forward to. Thanks to all those who have supported over the years, and look forward to bigger and better things to come,” he said.
