Barbadians are paying less of petroleum products except kerosene.
As of midnight Sunday, kerosene went up by a cent and now costs $0.81cents.
The retail price of gasoline moved from $2.69 per litre to $2.58 per litre, while the price of diesel will drop from $1.82 per litre to $1.77 per litre. These represent decreases of 11cents, and five cents per litre respectively.
Meanwhile, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will retail at $151.19 per 100 lb cylinder, a decrease of $0.34 cents. The price of the 25 lb cylinder has dropped from $43.16 to $43.08, a decrease of eight cents, while the 22 lb cylinder will now cost $38.07, down from $38.15, which is eight cents less. The new price of a 20 lb cylinder is $34.61, seven cents cheaper.
These adjustments in retail prices are due solely to changes in the CIF (cost, insurance and freight) of these refined products.
