Rough seas

OFF-BEAT-Sorrel aplenty

With Christmas around the corner, Bajans will have plenty sorrel drink for their enjoyment this season. Across the island the sorrel tree is in full bloom as seen here at Buttals Plantation in St George where Dave Sam was busy today with harvesting.

Work in progress

By next week it should be smooth sailing again in South District, St George, as this recently collapsed road reopens to the public. Today, crews were hard at work effecting the necessary repairs to the road, which caved in last month (below) under pressure from heavy rains.
