Sobers “Red” House with 1144 points repeated as champions when Lester Vaughan’s inter-house sports concluded today at the National Stadium.
Adams “Blue” House with a tally of 988 points and Gill “Green” House with 778 points took second and third positions respectively, and kept the winners on their toes throughout the day.
Placing fourth was Walcott “Orange” House with 724 points, Prescod “Purple” House was fifth with 574 points and Barrow “Yellow” House 534 finished sixth.
Contributing significantly to Sobers House’s accomplishments was victrix ludorum Tianna Bowen who piled up an imposing 85 points. She won the 100m, 200m, 400m and 3000m which came as no surprise in the division two girls showdown. Stephen Griffith of Walcott House emerged as victor ludorum with 78 points in the division one boys category.
Andrea Oughterson of Adams House with 70 points was the division one champion among the girls, Acacia Small of Gill House was named division two winner with 49 points while Rowland Kirton-Browne of Walcott House was division four champion with 66 points. Adams House’s Vivica Addison topped division five with 72 points.
Meanwhile for the boys Reshawn Sargeant of Sobers House scored 61 points to top the division two boys, Quamie Neblett of Adams House with 75 points was the division three chief while Shem Williams of Sobers House with 52 points won division four.
The top honour in division five went to Javon Alexander of Adams House with 32 points.
