The Cliff Beach Club has reopened for in-house dining for the first time in three months, with the same amazing service and spectacular cuisine but with an added heavy focus on health and safety.
During the Government-mandated lockdown brought on by COVID-19, The Cliff Beach Club, which was open for curbside pickup only, used the time to put measures in place to ensure proper protocols would be in place when its doors reopened.
General Manager Brian Tatum said the health and well-being of staff and patrons are very important and they are taking the guidelines very seriously.
“There is a washing up station as soon as you enter, we have hand sanitizer available, we take temperatures and the tables are spaced the required three metres apart for social distancing purposes. Patrons must wear a mask and if they are not, we will provide them with a disposable one. All of the staff wear disposable masks and gloves,” he explains.
The Beach Club, which exudes a more relaxed casual vibe than its world-famous big sister The Cliff Restaurant, is perched right by her side and, situated on three levels, provides the same stunning 180-degree view of Barbados’ West coast with turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea as the backdrop.
The reception area leads into an eclectically modern designed bar which has seating that overlooks the sea and two levels of the dining area below. Open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, it offers a diverse menu with something for all tastes. If you are looking for a party vibe you will definitely find it on a Saturday or Sunday when The Beach Club is buzzing with energy with live entertainment taking centre stage.
Whether you are in the mood for bar bites, a three-course meal or some sundowners, you can’t go wrong at The Cliff Beach Club any day of the week. If you are putting it on your to-do list, get your reservation in early. With the new safety protocols and social distancing being enforced, capacity has been limited.
